Don’t Settle for Crumbs

The Idea

ZOPA bank wanted Brits to switch their current account to their newly launched ‘Biscuit’. And the bank they wished to steal share of voice from? Santander.

The goal was simple: demonstrate that we have better rates than Santander, and say it in a way that speaks to the masses.

Switching banks sits somewhere between “sorting your sock drawer” and “calling your broadband provider” on the excitement scale.

Our job was to get Brits to move money, a behaviour most people avoid, and we did it by turning a dry financial comparison into a cultural moment people could literally see piled on the pavement.

So we did what any normal bank would do… and parked 10,240 biscuits outside a Santander. The amount of biscuits you would gain if you switched current accounts to BISCUIT.

The message?

Don’t settle for Crumbs.
